No Worries!

No Worries!

For many, worry is a reaction to events that are out of our control. For some, it's how we show concern. As Christ followers, scripture tells us not to worry or be anxious about anything.

As a church family we encourage you to not give in to worry. We encourage you to dig into God's Word and be reassured that He is in control of every aspect of our lives.

Philippians 4:6-7--6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7-- 7casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Matthew 6:25--25Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?

Matthew 6:26-27-- 26Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27Which of you by worrying can add one [j]cubit to his [k]stature?

Matthew 6:34--34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.

Psalm 55:22--22Cast your burden on the Lord,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Philippians 4:19-- 19And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

1 John 4:18-- 18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

Isaiah 26:3--3You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
